took this when I first got my camera and was unsure of shutter speed and manual functions, so I snapped a few in auto. a few months later, after I had mastered manual, a similar cloud formation materialized and went outsude and practiced. turned out I was right to go auto. I like to think of ‘auto’ as the little Ansel Adams inside my camera. No matter how many Youtube photography tutorials I watch, auto always seems to know best.
